Organisations create free webinar for letting agents
As part of this year’s SAFEagent Awareness Week, London Trading Standards and SAFEagent have partnered to produce a webinar which helps agents refresh their knowledge and ensure their compliance is up-to-date.
The webinar – which is free for all to access – features Donald Silcock, Vice Chair of London Trading Standards. He takes agents through their requirements on the Consumer Rights Act 2015, offers advice and best practice, while explaining real life examples and information on the most common pitfalls.
The webinar also focuses on eight useful pointers for agents:
- Check in fees
- Client Money Protection
- Easily accessible information
- Redress Scheme renewal
- Negotiable’ fees
- Ensuring fees always include VAT
- Advisory letters
- Correct display of a business names
Agents do not have to be a member of SAFEagent to watch the webinar and it can be accessed by all here.
